Two-factor authentication

Add a second verification step to your account using any TOTP authenticator app.

Updated May 5, 2026

Two-factor authentication (2FA) requires a 6-digit code from an authenticator app in addition to your password. Even if your password is compromised, an attacker can’t sign in without the code.

Enable 2FA

  1. 01

    Open Account → Security

Find the “Two-factor authentication” section and click “Enable”.

  2. 02

    Scan the QR code

Add the entry to your authenticator app by scanning the QR code, or paste the secret string manually.

  3. 03

    Confirm with a code

Enter the 6-digit code from your app to confirm enrollment. clustra verifies it before turning 2FA on.

  4. 04

    Save your backup codes

Download or print the one-time backup codes. Each code works once and lets you sign in if your authenticator is unavailable.

Signing in with 2FA

After entering your password, you’ll be redirected to a 6-digit code prompt. Open your authenticator app, type the current code, and you’re in.
